Our Focus
Abuse is injustice in our families, homes, communities and churches! Jesus wants victims to know that He cares more about the hearts and souls of the women being abused, more about their safety, more about their lives, than He cares about the institution of marriage. Abuse does not discriminate. 1 in 3 women will report being abused in their lifetime. How many cases are going unreported?
We want to Shine a Light on domestic violence everywhere.
We are a safe place for victims and survivors of abuse to get support both online and in local weekly group meetings. We can provide domestic violence education and spiritual guidance that fosters personal restoration. We connect victims to additional resources that supplement the services we provide through our partnerships with other organizations in the community.
Your safety is our #1 priority. If you are in imminent danger, call 911.
We teach church leaders , counselors and other community leaders how to recognize the signs of abuse, how to respond respectfully, and identify when referrals should be made to Shine a Light for additional support. An individuals safety should be everyone’s number one priority.

Community Partners include law enforcement, legal representatives, local DV shelters, and other organizations which play a key role in supporting those affected by domestic violence.
